Helloooo Nurse! [D2, EA]

He knew there were some medical personal aboard. That exotic-looking Jedi girl he saw yesterday had seemed pretty busy then, but maybe he'd luck out now. Or maybe the blind one...? Also handsome. There was one who seemed to be a smoker too, so he made sure to have a pack of cigarettes and his pocket flask filled up with something nice.

"Hello...? I'm looking for a nurse, or a doctor. Honestly I'm not picky!"

Apollo was almost certain that this had been the medbay area.

"Don't have a certificate for either," Zeline said, rising from her makeshift desk. She had been reviewing patient dossiers on her datapad, particularly the less humanoid aliens. Thus far, she had gotten away with treating furless people. How was she supposed to perform surgery with all that fur? "Not a nurse, not a doctor, just a medic."

When she finally got a better look at her impromptu patient, her eyes widened. Without thinking, she smoothed out her dorky Republic uniform underneath her utilitarian thermal cloak. "Y-You get shot at too?"

"Medic will do," the Zeltron flashed a warm smile. And finally it seemed like someone wasn't blind or unable to appreciate his good looks!

"Yeah, got a few shots yesterday when I fought some of these Mandalorian scouts. One of the Jedi patched me up, but still hurts." Apollo placed a hand to his abdomen, where the (currently) covered up abs where. "Think you could take a look at, miss?"

"Scouts, huh? Well, here's hoping they didn't get to put in any detailed reports." For a moment, she considered how she felt whenever Republic scouts didn't return to base. It wasn't a feeling worth dwelling on, especially when there was work to do.

Since yesterday, Zeline had acquired a few ragged cushions to soften up her makeshift operating table. "Take a seat and I'll take a look." She headed over to her medical supplies, a welcome reprieve from staring at his body. "Gut shot though? Brutal. Plus you're lucky to have survived it."

Apollo raised a hand to do mimic a blaster shooting as he gave her a wink. "Oh they won't be giving any reports to anyone. We're professionals." At least they had handled them like pros, or so he thought himself.

Eyeing the cushions of the makeshift table, he couldn't help but to smile a little as he took off his trenchcoat. The setup was making him think of another time in a makeshift clinic. "Armoured jacket took care of most of the brunt, so no deep injury I think?" He unbuttoned his shirt to reveal his toned physique. There was actually some blaster marks on his torso, so he wasn't just doing this for attention.

Even if he really liked the attention.

"Most of us are soldiers. It's our job to kill people." Zeline pressed her lips together. "But that raises the question as to why you're here. That is, unless they've changed the uniform when I wasn't checking." The Republic Army certainly seemed to like stuffing the soldiers into tight clothes.

"Only way to know is to take a thorough look," she said, trying her best to not sound too enthusiastic. She tapped into her datapad so she could see if there were any chemical mishaps to worry about with Zeltrons. Seemed to be the main concern was for the responding team to not inhale a bunch of pheromones.

Zeline eyed her respirator then sighed. It would be even weirder if she put that on. She lugged her sterile bandages and the bacta salve over with her. "Definitely some, uh, discoloration there. You'll need to skip workouts for the rest of the day, okay? Morning come, you'll be good as new.

"In the meantime, would you mind applying this to the affected areas?" She held out the tube then pulled it back. "I'll squeeze out the proper amount and direct you, okay?" She took a deep breath which, of course, only worsened the situation.

"I'm what you'll call a brave volunteer, miss," he said, awarding Zeline with a charming smile when she glanced at him. "If I was in the military though, I'd request that the uniforms would be made of something much nicer. Maybe velour."

Apollo did take the tube that was offered to him, and nodded thoughtfully as the medic directed him what to do. "It's been a while since I was on the receiving end like this, but I'll do my very best. Will there be any discomfort?"

"A volunteer? Sounds like what most, if not all, of the military is." At least, she was pretty certain that no foreign troops here had been drafted. The natives, well, that was an entirely different story. "You still could enlist or maybe get an officer commission... Wait, what's this about velour?"

Zeline shrugged. "Well blaster bolts burn the skin and the nerves underneath. You'll be getting both the sensations back and feeling it heal at the same time. So, I would say, yes." Would this guy understand? Who was she to judge, though, when she could barely stand the smell of him.

"I can give you a mild painkiller if you want... Wouldn't want to go overboard."
