Every town, no matter the size, needs a bar. In Kandra's Run, that bar is The Woodsman*.
Since tourism is the second big industry in Kandra's Run, The Woodsman has leaned heavily into local flavor. While the foundation of the building is, of course, duracrete, the walls are paneled with local wood. The chairs and tables are made out of this material as well, something which may be unfamiliar to those from more cosmopolitan worlds like Coruscant. Wood carvings decorate the walls.
The bar is clean, well-lit, and even smells nice. There is a stage for live music, often featuring local bands. It's a large enough space that parties or events are often held here. If anyone wanted to organize a respectable social event, this would be a fine place for it!
Currently the Ortolan EDM Band 'No Evil' plays regularly.
While there is some supply of off-world alcohol, The Woodsman is the best place to get Kandra Stout, a dark bitter beer, or Kandra's Rum, a thick, sweet, liquor. Both of them have a definite arboreal taste, coming from the bark and the sap of the local trees respectively.
The proprietor of The Woodsman is an older Pantoran woman named Reyi Vix. Customers will get a warm welcome from her, and a friendly ear to listen to their troubles. If, on the other hand, they come to make trouble, they get a scolding, and her stern grandmotherly manner is enough to get even the roughest customer to subside with a mumbled "Yes'm."
*Note, local dialect refers to every worker in the logging industry as woodsman, regardless of age, gender, or species.
