
Location: The smoking ruins of the smoking ruins of the shield generator. A sizable crater has been blasted in the center of the structure and now there’s a large circle of molten earth and metal. In the dead centre of it stands Krenna Bal’Fortenes, her armour nearly molten slag as she bleeds from a dozen wounds. But she still stands. Already crusader reinforcements are flooding in to save their leader. If there’s any chance to take her down, it’s now.
This event now open to 4 players.
Because of the heroic nature of this moment, any PC can choose to gain two upgrades to a check they are making as an incidental, but in return the next attack against them is upgraded twice.
Once per combat any PC not in this scene can as an out of turn incidental flip a destiny point to either:
Reduce the damage of an attack that hits a PC by 3
Heal a PC in the scene for 3 strain
Upgrade a PC's next check once and add 2 boost dice to that check
Cause a critical hit against a PC to be re-rolled
The PC must write a short fluff post about how they managed to assist (yelling encouraging words, distracting an enemy, having prepared something relevant earlier).

Players roll vigilance or cool initiative.
