D2 Event questions

Setting one up for D2 as well!

Snowie's got a few things that I don't think strictly apply as written, but I feel might be relevant (for better or worse...).

1) For the Piloting (planetary) check to use the logging equipment - it's not a Mechanics checks, but I kinda feel like this might apply. Should it?

Low-tech (Racial): Upgrade difficulty of Mechanics checks involving advanced technology once.

And for the Athletics checks to set things up. It's not a Resilience check, and it's an upgrade rather than a setback, so again, possibly nothing of that should apply. But since I've got a wild assortment of things to help with cold, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask:)

Adapted to the Cold (Racial): Remove ■ due to cold or snow-filled conditions.
Heating system (Armor): Reduce difficulty of Resilience checks due to cold by 1. Remove ■■ due to extreme cold.
Thermal cloak (Gear): Remove ■■ from checks about handling cold or heat.

(1)It's probably a bit awkward for Snowflake, but it's not a mechanics check so no worries about upgrading the difficulty.

(2)Snowflake is the king of mitigating setbacks, but only something that could downgrade the difficulty would apply there.

Ugh, I rolled for the first part of the event and forgot to add the boost from the previous roller.

But this time I only remembered about it after rolling for the second part...

Should I roll the boost and add it to the first roll (which could possibly negate the setback I had got from it), then depending on what happens just possibly ignore the setback die from the second roll?

Or... would it be easier to just keep things as is and pass the boost die (along with those my second roll produced) to the next roller?

Or should I just reroll the whole mess?
