I'm in for either one.

Not sure whether our force users prefer to....roll the force dice, or keep it for a passive effect, but the force penalty for the pet arena should be a consideration for that imo.

The Force Penalty certainly hurts, especially depending on how important force rolls are for your PC!

That said, I'd say I'm willing to send Snowflake to either of the combats. He should be particularly good at taking damage, as usual XD

Also, since he's basically restricted to melee attacks, the thick mood in Without Rancor possibly hurts Snowie even more so than the force penalty?

Anyway - could jump into either.

I join the damned neutrals camp, but will make some kind of decision after work tonight and post in since I'm still working today/tomorrow.

The force issue isn't a big deal for Tomin since her force-aided rolls are Vigilance/Perception, which are not heavily featured there. ^^

Throw me in where needed tomorrow if any hasn't filled.

I'm leaning towards the ice breaker.

Give Nicha suggested the Boss Battle might make better use of soaky characters (and the Rancor fite better use of high Pierce or Breach), I think I'm leaning ice breaker

I have middling soak and lots of damage, so that's a point in favor for Without Rancor for me. But I'm still willing to take those odds on Ice Breaker if necessary.

Hmm Zeline only has a Soak of 6 and basically relies on Crits to hamper enemies. She can heal for 2+ now with Stimpacks though!

I think soak 6 is possibly our second best? Second or third! At any rate it's not bad. So Zeline probably fits the bill for Ice breaker if you'd like to join!

She does have a Forearm Grip to shoot while in Engaged, though an ally being with her would make that awkward.

While Vala can potentially do DPS, let's just admit that she's squishy. So I suppose I can do either or but I'm swaying toward Without Rancor.

Okie I'll roll up into the Boss Battle. If you want, then my first action could be to jam Snowie full of stims. :D

jamming stims through that fur has to be a challenge

pondering ghosting a move from medium to long range (and accepting the strain) since medium/long are the same difficulty with this rifle.

Downside, that leaves no maneuvers for Aiming or Marking.

Possibly makes everyone closer in more likely to be targets as well.

So...back up and target a side group to help clear them out. Or stay put and focus on Old Merc with Mark to help get a crit and maybe get some conditions on him before his second action at the end of the round.

Ghosting decisions are weird before initiatives are out.

I'd be down for either combat though leaning towards the easier one.
That said, looks like theres enough neutral people to fill, so I'll jump in if theres a gap somewhere
