And the force was as Zephrin blasts down onto the train, taking out the gunner with ease. Still, the rocking from all the fire and the ice getting kicked up made the next few moments of piloting rather difficult indeed.

Rece holds his hands on the handlebars just long enough to give Apollo the speed boost he needs to hopefully close the final gap, then pulls out his rifle to give their dramatic entrance some cover fire.

Rece's hail of fire takes out an entire minion group as the shocked Mandalorians are annihilated by the heavy firepower spraying out of the bike!

Tomin angles the speeder to catch the overturned bikes upside down repulsors for an extra lift, soaring much higher than these little guys were supposed to go. "Time to jump!!"

Tomin is a lot less graceful...maybe it's the rifle slung across her back messing with the aerodynamics. She makes an awkward arc from the speeder before it descends, landing with a loud CLANG on the train's sleek roof, fingers instinctively scrabbling a moment for nonexistant purchase. Disoriented, there's a chill of fear interfering with catching her bearings.

On the other hand, she's made herself quite an obvious distraction in front of the remaining Mandolorians.

With his swift and deft hands, Apollo drew his special pistol - a grappling gun! With a thunk the gun fired and successfully connected to the train!

"Aw yeah, this is gonna be awesome!" He grinned wildly and let the mechanism reel him in. "Wheeeeeeeeeee--- oh poodoo!" Something was about to go terribly wrong!

Rece twists midair to orient himself towards the train, then launches the grappling hook on his bracer and reels himself in, landing squarely in front of the Mandalorians. "...cause you're in trouble! Uh, Apollo? Line?" Where did that Zeltron go?

Apollo, as you land gracefully on the train the strong wind blows a full gust of your pheromones straight into the snout of the beast the Mandalorians had released. The azurdactyl rears back for a moment...and then it becomes very clear they hunt based on scent as it hisses loudly and launches itself through the air at you.

Rece takes a moment to study the creature that ruined their carefully choreographed duo intro, and also the Azurdactyl that seems bent on attacking him.

Apollo was normally excited about attention, and he had been looked at with hunger from time to time. But usually of a more emotional or sexual kind. Rarely of the physical hunger-kind.

So he didn't really like that look.

"HEEEELP MEEEEE!" he shrieked out, holding a knife ready in a defensive position in hopes that the pathetic scream would garner him sympathy from one of the Jedi.

Well of course the Jedi would protect folks as needed it, even if all those nice pheromones were blowing around somewhere else. Tomin turns, hearing the somewhat unexpected scream as she rolls to her feet, swaying with the train's movement.

It's a bit like hitting the broad side of a large flying creature, honestly.

Staring down the barrel of a heavy repeating blaster. He could sense the hatred coming from the Gunner. It felt oddly personal. There was a look towards the two bodies lying beside the weapon. Two Mandalorians gunned down by his unexpectedly accurate blaster fire. Yes, it was personal.

His blade struck out, ending the vendetta before it could begin. Turning around he placed himself between any remaining Mandos and the weapon before settling into a Soresu defensive stance.

Zephrin quickly removes the Mandalorian on the heavy repeater blaster and Tomin's shots nearly blast the Azurdactyl away. But the beast has got the smell of blood in its nostrils now and merely shrieks before pouncing on Apollo and trying to tear him apart!

Rece dodges backwards from the swinging axe, then sticks his rifle under the commander's chin and pulls the trigger. It's only as the body hits the roof of the train that Rece notices the whistle hanging around its neck.

"Hey, Apollo! I think I found a solution that's more up your alley!"
