The huge machine roars again with a high pitched artificial scream before bringing two of its massive limbs down on Snowflake. Amazingly while it leaves Hapunn in quite a good position, the heroic Gigorian is able to hold off the giant pincers and takes no damage!

Vala took aim at the less-occupied target and fired a few shots. While there was a part of her that didn't want to be hit again and shooting at the Mandalorian wasn't going to make that any less of a likelihood, she wasn't exactly going to be able to do much when it came to reasoning and mercy. That ship seemed to have jumped into hyperspace a long time ago when the shooting began. Through the turbulence and the chips stacked against her, she seemed to have managed to score another solid shot!

The Droid screaming and trying to grasp the Gigoran seemed to wake something up inside the Gigoran. The fear-like feeling the walking mountain was 'not-quite-showing', but definitely sending signs of here and there - in expressions and through the force - seemed to be gone. In its place, there was an instinctual, primal sense of purpose, which sent the jokul's oversized fluffy fist deep into the Droid's metallic frame.

Scraps jumped out as the Gigoran removed his hand from the insides of the creature to step back.

"That's enough! Let's end this!"

One more stim and she's able to catch the edge of...some bit of equipment she's not pausing to identify as she lets momentum swing her upright in time to follow the blazing series of shots with one of her own.

Even the mightiest of droids can only withstand attacks like that for so long. As Snowflake rips holes in the machine and Vala, Sirina and Toming blast pieces out of the basilisk it sways staggers and then falls backwards onto the wqing, dead.

Happun is trapped under the Basilisk as it slams him into the wing, his jetpack sparking and then dying with a pained sound.

"Impossible, there's simply no way you could have bested a Basilisk!" He struggles to get free. "You might have won for now, but this isn't the last you've heard of Hapunn Forn. I'll be back and you will regret ever crossing-"
The droid starts to slide off the shuttle, inch inch by inch it takes Hapunn with it. He desperately tries to trigger his jetpack...but nothing.

"Oh shi-"
And then they were gone, tumbling down and down through the clouds below until they hit the snow with a terrific explosion so loud you can hear it all the way up in the sky.
