Commander in chief • Corellian • Down to earth (like his ship) • Gruff
A stubborn troublemaker too popular to fire and too disrespectful to promote, Gaen Novar has served for the last seven years in the the 277th Outer Rim Expeditionary Force as a colonel. His typical Corellian disdain for unearned authority earned him few friends amongst the upper officers, but his no-nonsense approach to leadership left him well liked by the rank and file.
After the twin crushing defeats of Itamani III and Crucius he was left the highest ranking officer in the field and managed to single-handedly organise an orderly withdrawal of the surviving Republic units. Rather than retreat for rearmament and resupply, Gaen has brought his rag-tag force towards the strategically crucial planet of Obroa-Skai in a desperate bid to stop the Crusaders cutting the Vaathtree Trade Corridor.

Air and Naval Captain • Up from the ranks • Leads From the Front • Leaves None Behind
The highest ranking officer of the 640th Colony Garrison to remain in the field, Alexander commands the majority of the Hopers' remaining air and naval assets. While there is some resentment towards Colonel Novar’s assumption of overall command he doesn’t deny the Corellian knows his business. Alexander worked his way up from a simple pilot and is more comfortable in the cockpit of a ship than anywhere else. There’s no sign he intends to cease leading from the front anytime soon.

The Negotiator • Mentor • Jedi • Reluctant Warrior
Master Aola Mobok disdains the use of a lightsaber, labeling it a brute force solution that Jedi are all too often over keen to employ. Instead the respected Jedi prefers to focus her efforts on peacefully negotiating the end to the hostilities that plague the galaxy. Now in her 40s Master Mobok has reconciled feuding clans, merged warring corporations and even brought a temporary ceasefire to the Interfex Civil War.
Recently, she journeyed to meet with the Coreward Path alongside a small retinue of knights, padawan and temple rangers to negotiate the return of a captured Jedi, Knight Haneul from their ranks. What happened next isn’t entirely clear. The Mandalorians claim the Jedi ship jumped into the middle of an ongoing battle in the gravity well of Itamani III. The Republic has stated that the Mandalorians had agreed to a truce at the time. In either case the Jedi ship was fired on and sustained severe damage and was forced to retreat along with the republic remnants under Gaen Novar.
The news that the Crusaders were next heading for Obroa-Skai and its Jedi Academy concerned Aola greatly. While she would have preferred to pull back and let the war take its course the damage to her ship and the risk to the Jedi on the planet was too great to ignore. With a heavy heart she has pledged Jedi support to the battle of Obroa-Skai.

Unusually quiet for an Ithorian, Uffob is proud of his years of steady service to the Order. He and his men have provided silent but invaluable support to the Jedi on several peacekeeping missions. Fully immersed in the Jedi code, the 1st ranger views violence as the last possible resort, but is prepared to fight without hesitation when it becomes necessary. Nobody who knows him has ever seen him angry.

Militia Leader • 'Legitimate' 'Businesswoman' • Mirialan • Growing Into Leadership
The reluctant leader of the Obroan contingent that managed to make it off world before the Mandalorian blockade tightened(in large part thanks to her heavily modified Nova Courier) Nimi just wants the fighting to end so she can get back to her gray market shipping business. More skilled than she knows and more popular then she thinks, the Mirialan was the logical choice for leadership given her militia training.

Unfathomably Stubborn • Unofficial Got To Guy • Fiercely Protective of His Family • Kandra born and bred.
A surly man in his late 40s, Ciph is the unofficial leader of the loggers within Kandra’s Run. He’s been working the land here since he was old enough to walk and had hoped that he and his three sons would be untouched by the war. The arrival of the Concord Dawn has put paid to those plans and he resents the Republic soldiers who have arrived at his door. Still, if something needs doing in town he’s the best placed to do it, and with their logging machinery he and his crew are surprisingly efficient at large scale construction.

Well Educated • Doesn't Smile With her Eyes • Never Raises her Voice • Kandra born and bred.
A quiet woman, Camali was elected Mayor because everyone in town trusted her to manage the various personalities present. While she’s often overshadowed by more boisterous citizens, such as Ciph, when she speaks the rest of the town listens. As a young woman she left Kandra’s run over a decade ago to study in the capital where she met a girl and fell in love. Tragically her fiancé was killed in a speeder crash and she moved back home to heal. The town is extremely protective of her and she of them.

Bottom of the Chain of Succession • Doing his Dang Best • Young and Untested • Son of Immigrants
A young man only months out of the academy, Bevin has been thrust into command of the Council Security League, the small professional force responsible for defending the Obroan Government. Nervous, and perpetually second-guessing himself he would have preferred years to prove himself and grow in confidence, but the devastating Mandalorian attack which decapitated much of the planet’s security apparatus wiped out the officers above him. Now the safety of the increasingly beleaguered capital city is in his shaking hands.
