For those looking for a more typical scum and villainy type experience, The Den will have, well, at least some of what they're looking for. Kandra's Run is too small to support much organized crime, but it has a teeny tiny bit, and the usual amount of petty criminals. The Den is their place of choice.
In addition to the dark and slightly squalid front room, there is a back room where local authorities would no doubt be shocked, shocked to find gambling going on, both Pazaak and Dejarik. The occasional recreational fistfight will break out, with spectators almost immediately placing bets on the winner. A variety of off-planet drinks are available, as well as other recreational consumables.
The main proprietor of The Den is named Spike. He claims that it's because he once impaled a robber to the door with a big logging spike. It's pretty clearly because he's a Zabrak. Rumor has it that he has his fingers in a few crime pies, but it might just be talk.
