So long as you're a cold-weather species or sufficiently bundled up, the Town Center of Kandra's Run is a bright, pleasant place. Streets encircle a park, where a number of sturdy evergreen trees provide some amount of greenery against the thin layer of ice that blankets the ground. In the center of it all is a circular body of ice. A vendor provides skates for rental in a variety of shapes and sizes for all sorts of visitors.

Before the war, vendors could be found all along the paths. Now, only the largest remains, selling hot drinks (kaf, cocoa, and a local tea brewed from bark) in sturdy mugs, as well as a few snacks. It's run by a family of Rodians, with every family member enthusiastically stepping up to keep the line moving quickly.

Traditionally, once it gets dark in the park, electric lights in different colors come on. More than providing light, they glistened beautifully through the ice-coated trees. When the Mandalorians attacked, this tradition was prudently halted. Now with the shield of the Concord Dawn providing its protection, the lights are lit once more, twinkling their defiance of the Mandalorian invaders.
