Tomin spares a 'glance' that's nothing of the sort for her companions as the shuttle pitches and the besalisk's claws dig in. There's a *lot* of adrenaline and only about half of it is artificially administered.
So far, everyone is still on the proper side of the wing and not bled out. After a moment's consideration, Tomin raises the rifle, aiming for the creature's 'legs,' its grip and stability, shooting while moving to the side to avoid that laser in the thing's throat.
The shot does what she intended, but knocking around something that heavy doesn't help the shuttle's own stability, and Tomin stumbles to sprawl on the wing, rifle clonking beside her.
