The squad's bullets leave some marks on Snowflake's pelt, and the Bodyguard's stab draws some blood, forcing the Gigoran off balance. But he is not discouraged, and lunges forward to strike at the Dowutin again, hitting him again, this time with a right cross to the jaw powerful enough to invite most sentients to a forced nap.
Whether that would be the case with the Dowutin was to be seen, but it was a good hit that should encourage the others - and provided the opportunity for the walking carpet to find a position among the still-standing beams that should make it harder for shots to find him.

The Bodyguard is knocked senseless. He tries to prop himself up on one arm, then lists to the side and slumps unmoving onto the ground. The Dowutin was definitely not getting up again.

Say what you will about the mercenaries: they're mission-oriented. But Rece isn't giving them a chance to finish off a fellow agent. He vapes them all.

Rece knows Leene is a slippery slimeball, but they have him cornered, and if he dies here it's going to be that much harder to clear Ja'cque's name. Better to drag him kicking and screaming into the light. Not to mention a bargaining chip might get them past the reinforcements outside. He flicks his blaster over to stun.

Edward goes down hard, flopping unconscious onto the ground (with maybe a twitch or two). Fortunately, Rece is facing in just the right direction at just the right time to spot a set of headlights approaching the sawmill at speed!
The sound of the engine roars through the night as the armoured car careens through the sawmill's wall, filling the air with splinters and continuing into the complex...heading straight for the unconscious Edward.
((Rece, if you would like to save Edward make me an average vigilance check with two setback dice, then on success a hard coordination check. If the vigilance check is failed upgrade the difficulty of the coordination check twice.
Snowflake, if you would like to save Edward you can make a daunting athletics check with two difficulty upgrades to physically stop the car in its tracks!))

A log trap swings out of the darkness and crashes into the side of the armoured car and denting its side! The vehicle lurches onto its side for a second, wheels spinning furiously.

"I'll try!", Snowie more growled than said as he jumped forward without hesitation to place himself between the approaching "ram" and the others. Rooting his feet firmly on the ground, he braced for the impact, flexing the strong muscles on his knees and arms (onlookers of course relied on their capacities for reasoning to infer this, as seeing them under the layer of fur was hardly possible). He tried to focus on the energy going through him, direct it to his muscles.
He saw the armoured car approaching, the log hitting, the wheels on one side losing contact with the ground for a moment.
Then he jumped into action, trying his best to hug the vehicle from its front to slow it down - or at least direct some of its force to the side and then hold on to it.
It... worked. Kind of.
But....

But the driver, either from shock or sheer bloody mindedness keeps their foot on the accelerator! The wheels screech against the ground and the back of the car fishtails violently left and right, taking out some of the sawmill's supports with a crash.
The whole building groans and then shakes. It sounds as though the entire structure is collapsing, time to go.

"Remember where we parked!" Rece unclips the hefty survival kit from his backpack and hurls it through the nearest window to make an exit, then clips the unconscious mercenary in its place and hauls him from the collapsing building, taking few pains not to bump his head on the windowframe.

"Will do!", Snowie aswered without really thinking about it as he scanned the area to make sure that Ja'cque was also ready to stay on the right side of the sawmill's debris before making a run for it.

The sawmill comes crashing down behind you just as our heroes exit! Now you're outside you can feel the bitter cold again, although thankfully the moon has come out enough to partially illuminate the surrounding forest.
Edward is looking the worse for the wear, but you've saved his life. And Ja'cque is staggering to his feet out of a snow drift, shaking his head and snorting loudly.
And then, from the sawmill you hear that engine again. The armoured car charges out of the debris straight for you, turret blazing. Looks like you'll have to take it down the old fashioned way.

To take down the ram you'll have to find a way to through its armour. Fortunately, a log cracked into its left side and buckled the panels there easily. A clear weak spot.
Players take alternate turns attempting to take out the ram. After every 2 player turns the Ram will fire you at! Ja'cque can be used to upgrade the ability of one player skill roll twice, once every 2 player turns. No PC may take the same skill check twice in a row.
After 4 successful skills ram will be disabled!
Available skill checks:
Tear off a plate of armour. Hard with one upgrade athletics or brawl.
Aim for the drivers. Ranged combat check at medium range, two upgrades to difficulty, 2 setback dice for called shot and two setback dice for defence.
Lure it into a trap. Average survival with two setback dice.
Active sabotage Hard mechanics roll with one setback.
Spot a crucial weak point. Hard perception or vigilance with one difficulty upgrade.
