Freaking giant spider creatures. Just couldn't seem to leave him alone. Not that he could really blame it. He had been called tasty on at least one occasion after all.

Rolling to his feet he jumped back to create space between him and the Acklay before firing again. Hopefully he could at least stagger the beast.

The flames left some scorch marks on the Gigoran's fur, but all the giant spares Nus now is a look of disgust and anger before he turns back to focus on the Maalras.

"It will be over soon", he says to the beasts in an almost soothing voice as he strikes at the beasts again. He seems to be trying to calm himself down as much as the beasts...

Zeline tilted her head at the giant creature rampaging around. Then she gawked at the Mandalorian ranting about how this was all according to his plan. "But why? It'll just-"

Something dug its teeth into her! "You think I'll hesitate?!" She placed the barrel against the beast's skull and fired, seemingly uncaring that it was so close to her body. Then she kept on shooting around herself until she found an opening to get away.

Sirina keeps her weapon hot as the fight continues around her. Suddenly, she starts cackling madly as she sees an opportunity to line up shots on all the remaining beasts. After a moment of aiming, she fires wildly, her shots indiscriminate in every sense of the word yet seemingly always finding their targets despite the unyielding rate of fire and the chaos of the Battlefield.

Moments later, all but Fin fall stilled to the ice, and Sirina calls to Nus, "Any other pets you want culled? Make my day!"

Nus double aims and shoots at Sirina, hitting her for 12 damage pierce 0 and applying burn 2. He will then increases his ranged defence by 1 until his next turn. Weapon base damage is 10

Weapons with Burn inflict damage over time. If the attack is successful, the target continues to suffer the weapon's base damage each round for a number of rounds equal to the weapon's Burn rating. Damage is applied at the start of each of the target's turns.

A victim might be able to stop the damage by rolling around on the ground and making an Agility check as an action. This is an Average (2 purple dice) Coordination check on hard surfaces such as the hall of a spaceship, or an Easy (1 purple die) Coordination check on grass or soft ground. Jumping into a body of water stops the damage immediately. Both situations assume the flame is from actual combustion rather than a chemical reaction.

Nus at Sirina. Short range, GM destiny, double aim

He grunts. "Seems like I'll be eating ribs tonight. Love a good barbecue." Doubtless excited to have pulled of a line he'd been waiting years to use, he then set Sirina on fire.

The Acklay dead, Fec changed his target to the large jumping Mandalorian. Unfortunately, his aim was off, and his shot went a bit wide, though it did manage to dislodge Nus's Grip one of his weapons.

"Well, well, well, how the turntables..." Zeline couldn't think of something before watching the Pantoran get lit up. Literally. She slid in, shooting wildly at the weird Four Arms guy before pulling out a stim. "This will help with... the first wound. Roll around a bit, yeah?"

Zeline sighed. "Ah, whatever," she said before sticking her hands in where the fire was less hot to stim Sirina up.

"You are terrible with animals!" Before Nus can respond Snowflake socks him in the mouth with a thunderous haymaker.

((Despair Spend from last turn))

Seeing his beasts wiped out Nus angrily jabs a finger at his wrist controls. A nearby cage swings open and out stalks a ferocious Nexu that has been clearly ill-treated by the Mandalorian.Drool drips from his terrifyingly overfanged mouth as it pads towards our heroes!

Player's note:

The Nexu is adversary 1 and begins at medium range to all player characters.

The slap from the giant fish dragon certainly hurt. Fec felt it in his bones still rising to his feet he took a few steps towards the new enemy and unleashed a series of blaster bolts. He might not put it down, but it would more than likely piss it off.
