Description
Description
Large amounts of the Concord Dawn were destroyed when it plummeted out of orbit, leaving the Hopers undersupplied and under resourced. Countless debris are hidden behind doors forced shut or strewn about in the impact scar left when the ship made planetfall.
With some hard work some determined Hopers could probably get some of these rooms back into working order, providing some desperately needed support.
Rules Note
The following rooms are available to be repaired and restored:
Armory: 1 boost to a modding attempt per player per session
Launch Bay: 1 boost to all Piloting:Planetary or Piloting:Space check for all events using vehicles
Meditation Room: 1 boost to a Willpower roll per character per session. Can increase or decrease Morality by 1 per session.
Medical Bay: 2 free stimpacks per character per session
Officer’s Quarters Facilities: 1 boost to a roll to heal a crit 1/session per player per session
Archive/Library:1 boost to lore or education check per player per session
To repair a room requires 22 total successes between any amount of players and any amount of rolls (although successes towards separate rooms are counted separately). Each character may roll once per day costing one time slot. Rolls may use athletics, coordination, leadership or mechanics at average difficulty with one setback. ◆◆■
Players are encouraged to coordinate which rooms they wish to work towards!
Bonus Rooms
Your had efforts have not gone unnoticed by General Novar. He's provided the plans for a cutting edge command centre that can take Hoper command and control to the next level...if you're able to build it.
Bonus rooms required 44 total successes between any amount of players and any amount of rolls (although successes towards separate rooms are counted separately). Each character may roll once per day costing one time slot. Rolls may use athletics, coordination, leadership or mechanics at average difficulty with one setback and one difficulty upgrade. ⬟◆■
A despair will remove a build point from that room!

Vala got to work on clearing up the Officer's quarters with the complete assumption that she would be able to use it once it was done. There were fewer officers with them, admittedly, and it was likely some of those cushy seats were going to need filling, right? Well, she suppose they could work the detail about that later once the work was done. She worked probably a bit too zealous, bumping into the elbows of some people along the way. "Hey, I'm working, here!"

It was all a bit of a mess.
To be fair though it could have been much, much worse! The Officers' Quarters were only a priority because of their enhanced medical equipment, but it made sense to fix that up. The Mandalorians were going to give them quite a fight in the days ahead.
There was a lot of rubble to be cleared before the techs could get in to deal with the power connections. Zephrin let the Force guide him as he moved around the space, shifting heavy items, lifting fallen cabinets, and generally doing lots of grunt work.
It would all be worth it for the inevitable combat to come.

After the expect ministrations of the medic Othym's leg was feeling almost as good as new - aside from the 50+ years of wear and tear. He'd been on his way to the infirmary when the sirens had gone off, briefly before the ship tumbled from orbit. After that of course, everything was a wreck
Given how he'd needed urgent medical care before they even reached the plantet, he thought it'd be important to help clean up the infirmary as best he could - even if his technical skills in the area were far from honed.

Jorgan grabbed a chunk of metal and pulled it out of the rubble, tossing it aside with a grunt. The crash landing had left the officer's quarters in shambles, and it was up to him and his fellow soldiers to get it back in working order. He could hear the sound of groaning metal and clanging tools as everyone worked together to repair the damage.
As he worked, Jorgan couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness for the loss of their comrades that died during the crash. But he quickly shook it off and focused on the task at hand. They needed to get this base operational again, and fast.
"Come on, move it!" Jorgan barked, trying to motivate his fellow soldiers. "We need to get this place back up and running, and fast. Lives are at stake here." With renewed determination, he continued to work, pulling debris out of the way and repairing what he could.

This was going to be a multi-day effort but they were defininitely making progress. Zephrin got to work clearing up rubble and doing some heavy lifting for repair work. It wasn't anything complicated, just muscle work and endurance.
After two hours it felt as though he had accomplished a lot. He even managed to make things look easier for the next crew. Maybe they would finish the repairs today after all!

Terreck would be the first to admit that he hadn't gotten a lot done during the repairs yesterday. Well, okay. Maybe not the first but he would at the very least admit to it if he was pressed by a commanding officer.

It was another day of laborious work and it seemed that Vala's dazzling social skills weren't going to find a way to get out of it. She supposed it was better than working the kitchens around here as everything she could make usually had some sort of self-heating unit attached to it or could be made with boiling water as the main ingredient. This was familiar...simple work that just took time, like shearing tuomon or sweeping. Someone skilled would do the structural mending of durasteel and the like, but first, they needed the junk cleared away to see where the repairs were needed. Tomin did her part, unearthing light fixtures that would be helpful once they were up and running, and clearing debris from the hall.
