There was no point in visiting a place like The Den early in the day or even the evening for that matter, so it was finally late in the evening when Apollo showed up. The scorchmarks from yesterday's blaster fire added some rogueish charm to his trenchcoat that fit in in a place like this.
Stepping inside the hive of local scum and minor villainy, Captain Apollo lit his cigarette and took in his surroundings.

Well well. Well well well. It looked like trouble was walking into The Den. Trouble with a capital T, where T stood for "Those Abs."
There was a mix of folk in the bar, each sketchier looking than the last. Some of them paused to look at Apollo as he came in. One of them took the opportunity to steal his neighbor's credit chit. It was that kind of place.

Behind the bar, a Zabrak looked at Apollo with a smirk. He jerked his head, clearly inviting the newcomer over.

The smirk was returned, and Apollo took a casual drag from his cigarette as he approached. This was more his kind of place it seemed, judging from the clientele's behaviour.
"Heya," he greeted the Zabrak, looking him over with an approving glance. "Seems like a cozy place you got here."

The smirk return was returned with a smirk. The Zabrak shrugged. "Hey, well, you know. I like to keep things nice."
On the side of the bar, a big bug scurried out from behind a mug. Without changing expression, and barely even glancing, the Zabrak snatched up a frying pan from the stove, bringing it down on the bug with a squish. He put the pan back on the stove.
"Name's Spike." The Zabrak went on. "You look like you're new around here, pal. Anything in particular you're... looking for?"

"Apollo. Captain Apollo." Given the lack of any official markings and his flashy style of garb, it was most likely the type of captain who owned their own flying tincan. He tried not to be a bit disgusted with the bug infestation, though a brief grimace slipped through... before it was covered up with a chuckle.
"In the neighbourhood regarding this other pest that has showed up here." The heavily armed and armored kind. "Trying to hear what the smarter people on the planet has to say about it, what's going on. The usual." With a smile, Apollo placed some a credit chit on the bar to pay for a drink... and another underneath it that he revealed to Spike; a 50 credit chit.

"Oh, I see, I see." Spike's eyes narrowed. He picked up the credit chit, making it disappear with a flourish. "Well, let me get you a drink, and maybe we can talk about it some more."
Bending down, he pulled a bottle from under the counter, giving it a shake, and then pouring it into a mostly clean glass, which he slid across the table to Apollo. As he did so, he leaned forward a bit. "For the smart, well, you know what they say. One person's war is another person's opportunity. I hear someone's making good money in the weapons business. Might be a bit late to get in, but if you move fast, there might be room for another. Or, if you track him down, maybe he needs help moving product."
